What is Polystone?
Polystone
is a compound made by mixing polyurethane resin (polyresin) and stone powder,
the combination when mixed by expert artisans allows the creation of unique and
decorative surfaces. Polystone retains the resin characteristics during casting
and has a stone-like feature after curing, therefore it is the most
cost-efficient medium for casting high-quality sculptures for experienced
manufacturers.

What is Cold Cast Bronze?
Cold
Cast Bronze is a distinctive casting method that blends polyresin production
with bronze material. This inventive material enables the sculpture's surface to
be covered with a thin, cold-to-the-touch layer of bronze, creating the
appearance of an authentic bronze sculpture. The production process, known as
"Cold Casting," is unique because it does not involve melting bronze ingots as
traditional bronze casting does.

How do I clean Polystone & Cold Cast Bronze statues?
Start
by lightly dusting the statue with a soft brush or using a pump air duster to
remove any loose dust and debris. Avoid using liquid solutions for cleaning, as
they can potentially damage the statue's paint or metallic finish.

Things to avoid:
The
general suggestion is to Avoid anything that you wouldn’t put on a premium work
of art, including, but not limited to, close proximity to sources of Fire or
High Heat, prolonged exposure to Direct Sunlight, and Harsh Chemicals such as
Cleaning Solutions, Gasoline, Alcohol, etc.
|
Humidity and the Cold Cast Bronze finish:
The
finish of a Cold Cast Bronze statue contains metallic particles that will react
to its surroundings, the bronze finish will age like real bronze statues
depending on the humidity, rain, UV radiation, and other environmental
exposures. Some of our collectors prefer the aged bronze finish as It makes the
statue unique. If you wish to keep the statue in its original finish, you only
need to place it in a controlled indoor environment.
